Ready for another great weather weekend? Well there is so much to take advantage of, including taking a walk around town and discovering all the alleyways and streets that we neglect as we drive by.
To start with, at Boone Hall this weekend is the Lowcountry Strawberry Festival, where you yourseslf can go out into the strawberry field yourself and pick your own baskets of strawberries. How fun will that be! This occurs April 18th - 19th at Boone Hall Plantation

Gene's Beerfest! - enjoy a sunday afternoon with one of the largest beer tasting in Charleston! Gene's Haufbrau will be hosting this event outside at noon for $5 admission

Movies at Marion Square is BACK!!!!
This is something that I look forward to in the early fall, and the city is giving us an early treat with 4 weeks of movies in Marion Square starting this week on April 17th. You can curl up on a blanket and enjoy the wonderful vendors that the city brings with food and drink (please don't bring your own). Pets are welcome. The movie starts at sundown, so get there early to get a good seat.
This week is TWILIGHT!!
The other dates are April 24th, May 8th and 15th
Also, there is a new restaurant on James Island that I'm dying to go to having seen the one in I'On - O'Brien's Pub. Now I am a sucker for a good Irish Pub, so this is a must try for me. If you have been to the new location in the Publix shopping center of Folly road, please let us know what your experience was like!
